New products capitalize on Javo's proprietary cold brewing technology

SAN DIEGO, August 22, 2002 - Javo Beverage Company (JAVO OTCBB), manufacturer of coffee concentrates, extracts and beverages, today announced two new products for the foodservice industry - Javo Freeze and Javo Iced Latte. The products will be demonstrated at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo at San Francisco's Moscone Center on August 24 - 26, 2002.

Javo Beverage Company utilizes its proprietary cold brewing technology, which captures the best elements of high-grade coffee beans, to produce the premium coffee beverages. Javo Freeze is a frozen, coffee-flavored pre-mix for granita-style dispensing equipment. Javo Iced Latte, a coffee-flavored thirst-quencher served on ice, is a post-mix packaged for dispensing from non-carbonated fountain machines. Both beverage mixes are available in two flavors - mocha and vanilla.

"The growing popularity of coffee flavored beverages coupled with Javo's unique technology made the addition of Javo Freeze and Javo Iced Latte to the company's product offering a natural fit," said Gary A. The new beverage mixes build on Javo's current success with Javo Fine Coffees, the company's liquid coffee concentrate, available in bag-in-box containers for foodservice operators across the country.

At the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo
Javo Beverage Company will serve its new coffee-flavored beverages and premium coffee concentrate at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo in San Francisco's Moscone Center on August 24-26, 2002.
